DARK TRANQUILITY FAN EVENT – Q&A AND BEER RELEASE

Dark Tranquility squeezed in a fan Q&A before their show in Toronto on Tuesday in conjunction with the release of their new beer, Dank Tranquility. The event was hosted by Pedro from A&P and took place at Blood Brothers Brewery, the fine beer experts behind this DT brew. 

It was an excellent afternoon at this exclusive event with a small group of fans who won the chance to attend. Thanks to Sony there was an open bar for all to try the beer and some yummy sliders and snacks to go alongside the drinks. 

I am unfortunately gluten intolerant and avoided the beer (but did enjoy a couple delicious Vanilla Cherry seltzers, yum) but those who did partake told me it was delicious – and strong. Dank Tranquility also got the seal of approval from the lads in Dark Tranquility as well, with them sipping on the brew throughout the Q&A. A description from Blood Brothers describes the beer as so:

The Q&A was unfortunately a bit rushed as the band had to travel across the city from soundchecking at the Opera House  for the BB event and then get back to said venue in time for their official meet and greet. However Pedro was at ease while chatting with the bandmates before inviting up a handful of fans to get in their Q’s as well. Post Q&A’ing fans had a bit of time to go up and get provided posters signed and chat with the band in a very organic way which was a nice way to wrap up the event.

All in all it was a great couple of hours at Blood Brothers with lovely people, food, and drink celebrating what me and a couple other people were calling “Dark Tranquility Day.”
